Projectstream has migrated to a dedicated server and given ourselves far more flexibility as well as the ability to offer support and hosting for our customers. Managing our own server infrastructure gives us more control and flexibility to deploy applications with fewer limitations.

We think the move makes sense because we are now also able to offer to host sites that we develop and design for our customers.
Why is this a good thing?
With shared hosting, your website would have to compete for resources with all of the other sites that are deployed on the server. Shared hosting providers are in the business of making money from hosting, so it is in their interests to leverage their hardware as much as possible.
On the other hand, we are not in the business of selling hosting. Our main business is building websites and applications. We see hosting as a value-added service to our customers. We have full visibility over everything that we host so we can make sure there are enough resources available for every website or application to perform at its peak capacity.
We also have the capability to upgrade and expand our resources if necessary, meaning that we can take on bigger projects and applications. So... if you need a company to just take care of things, we're now equipped to host and manage your website / application as well. Because we are monitoring our own server we can make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.
